  • Akiesha Anderson

    Law School Admissions Consultant

Akiesha is a highly-effective law school admissions coach and consultant that has assisted hundreds of underrepresented law school applicants navigate the law school admissions process and obtain millions of dollars in scholarships. She is a former admissions officer for UCLA Law, which is a top law school located in a state where affirmative action has been banned since the 1990s. This means that she is no stranger to (and can confidently help applicants navigate) the world of race-blind admissions that applicants now have to navigate country-wide after the Supreme Court's recent decision regarding affirmative action.

Given her unique ability to connect to underrepresented applicants, in her time as an admissions officer at UCLA Law, Akiesha helped the law school matriculate its largest class of incoming Black law students in nearly 25 years. Currently, Akiesha owns and runs Anderson Admissions Academy which is a low-cost business designed to help underrepresented law school applicants navigate the law school admissions process. Outside of serving as an admissions consultant, Akiesha is also a licensed attorney and lobbyist as well as the former Chief of Staff for the Alabama House of Representatives' Minority Leader. In the last few years, she has written and helped pass numerous state laws designed to improve the lives of marginalized Alabamians.
